Can Do Kids Band — Account & Data Deletion

Your Data, Your Choice

At Can Do Kids Worldwide, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by following the steps below.

How to Request Account Deletion

Option 1: From Within the App

  1. Open the Can Do Kids Band app
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Tap Account
  4. Tap Delete My Account
  5. Confirm your request

Your account and data will be scheduled for deletion immediately.

Option 2: By Email

Send an email to hello@candokidsworldwide.com with the following details:

  • Subject: Account Deletion Request
  • Your registered email address (the one you used to sign in)
  • Your display name in the app (if known)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

🗑️ Permanently Deleted

  • Your user profile and display name
  • Email address and sign-in credentials
  • Quiz progress and scores
  • Quest completion history
  • Bookmarks and saved items
  • App preferences and settings
  • Profile images

📋 Retained Temporarily

  • Anonymised, aggregated usage analytics (not personally identifiable)
  • Purchase transaction records (retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance)

Transaction records are required by law and cannot be linked back to your identity after account deletion.

Deletion Timeline

  • 1Immediately: Your account is deactivated and you are signed out of the app.
  • 2Within 30 days: All personal data is permanently deleted from our systems.
  • 3Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming that your data has been deleted.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • If you sign in again after deletion, a new account will be created with no previous data.
  • If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store before requesting deletion.

Delete Data Without Deleting Your Account

You can request that some or all of your data is deleted without deleting your account. This allows you to keep your account active while removing specific personal data.

How to Request Partial Data Deletion

Email hello@candokidsworldwide.com and specify which data you would like removed:

  • Quiz progress and scores — reset your learning history
  • Quest completion history — clear completed quests
  • Profile information — remove display name or profile image
  • Bookmarks and saved items — clear your saved content
  • App preferences — reset settings to defaults

We will process your request within 30 days. Your account will remain active with the remaining data intact.
