What is Global Goals Week?
Global Goals Week, taking place September 19-28, 2025, is an annual initiative where over 170+ supporters across civil society, business, academia, and the UN system come together to accelerate action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Coinciding with the UN General Assembly High-level Week, it represents what happens when the SDG community unites with one voice to share ideas and transformative solutions in the fight to recover better from global challenges.
The countries of the United Nations made a universal promise to leave no one behind in achieving a peaceful and prosperous world by 2030. Global Goals Week is our shared commitment to making this vision a reality—cultivating ideas, identifying solutions, and building partnerships with the power to solve complex global problems from inequality to climate change.
How Can Do Kids Worldwide Supports the SDGs
Can Do Kids Worldwide is committed to quality education and building global citizens who understand and respect cultures around the world. Our educational platform directly aligns with six Sustainable Development Goals, with a primary focus on SDG 4: Quality Education.
🎓 SDG 4: Quality Education
"Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all"
This is our primary focus. Can Do Kids Worldwide provides engaging, curriculum-aligned content that makes global education accessible to all students. Our Explorer's Guides, music books, videos, and interactive games supplement classroom learning and help children develop as informed global citizens.
🤝 SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
By teaching children about diverse cultures from an early age, Can Do Kids helps reduce prejudice and promote understanding across communities. When children learn about different ways of life, languages, and traditions, they develop empathy and respect for people from all backgrounds.
☮️ SDG 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions
Cultural understanding is the foundation of peace. Can Do Kids fosters respect and empathy by helping children appreciate different ways of life. Through our immersive country explorations, children learn that despite our differences, we share common values and aspirations.
🏙️ SDG 11: Sustainable Cities & Communities
Can Do Kids teaches children about sustainable practices from different cultures around the world, inspiring the next generation to build better communities. Our Explorer's Guides highlight how different countries approach urban planning, community building, and environmental stewardship.
♻️ SDG 12: Responsible Consumption & Production
Through our Explorer's Guides, children learn how different cultures approach sustainability, food, and resources. Understanding diverse perspectives on consumption and production helps children develop a global mindset about responsible resource use.
🌐 SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
Can Do Kids partners with schools, educators, and families worldwide to deliver quality educational content that supports global citizenship. We believe that achieving the Global Goals requires collaboration across borders, sectors, and generations.
Sustainable Travel Through Education
Physical travel has environmental impacts, but cultural education allows children to explore the world sustainably from their classrooms and homes. Can Do Kids Worldwide brings the world to children through:
- 🌏 Virtual Travel - Explore countries without the carbon footprint through our immersive digital content
- 🎵 Cultural Music - Experience traditional music and songs from around the world
- 📖 Explorer's Guides - In-depth guides covering history, geography, culture, and traditions
- 🎮 Interactive Games - Learn while playing with quizzes, crosswords, and word searches
This approach delivers the benefits of cultural immersion—building global awareness, empathy, and understanding—without the environmental costs of physical travel.
