Education Applications

In discussion with primary-level teachers, they have indicated their plans to include introducing more lessons that focus more on:

Active learning

Group discussion learning

Intercultural learning

Creative exploration learning

Developing individual strengths learning

These all relate to the principle that proactive students are 'can do explorers'. It is a process based on experiential learning, where students learn with and from other students.

Can Do Kids Worldwide Resource

To support this, a series of resources called Can Do Kids Worldwide has been created.

This educational resource enables students to visit countries virtually by following the Can Do Kids Band. This is a group of five animated teenage musicians from India, South Africa, Australia, China and the USA.

In their travel explorations, they learn about people and places, as well as the music and art of each country.

Interviews with teachers who have used the Can Do Kids Worldwide resource in their classrooms in the UK, Indonesia, South Africa, India, the Philippines, the USA and other countries indicate positive, high-level "can do" student attitudes and learning.
